Double-sided comb found in 1955 on the south slope of the Acropolis. Many teeth and part of the central spine are missing. One row has wider and more sparsely arranged teeth whereas teeth on the other row are narrow and denser. Each face of the central section consists of a rectangular panel decorated with incised motifs. The two panels are held together with small bronze nails heavily oxidised today.

The comb most possibly held and adorned the owner’s hair. Often combs with two rows of teeth in different dimensions were used to detangle and polish hair as well as removing lice.
